Joining ancient wisdom with modern knowledge

Is something missing in your practice?

Do you seek a deeper connection with yourself in your work with clients?

Do you find yourself frustrated when clients are not progressing through traditional clinical interventions?

Shamanism transcends psychopathology and dovetails nicely with psychotherapy. That may seem more extraordinary than you are comfortable with and I get it. I felt that way too, initially. But the more I learned, the more I realized that I am a much better therapist because I personally practice shamanism. I would like to guide you to embrace shamanism for yourself, which in turn will complement your work with your clients.

What is Shamanism?

  • The word, shaman, comes from the Tungus tribe in Siberia and means “one who sees in the dark.”

  • Shamanism is the oldest spiritual practice known to humankind.  Archaeological evidence shows the practice dates back at least 40,000 years and more.

  • Shamanism is a method for obtaining information and guidance to alleviate pain and suffering for humanity.

  • Shamanism is not a belief; it is a practice based on interactions the Shamanic practitioner has with unseen compassionate beings

  • The way a shaman interacts with non-physical beings is through a process called ‘Journeying’.

  • Because Shamans can obtain information through ‘Journeying’ it is said they have a “path to direct revelation.”

  • Shamans are described as one who sees with their heart.

These are some of the gifts Shamanism will deliver as you develop your own personal practice.
